Making more Christmas Cards using Spellbinders 3-D Wreath Stamps and Watercolor Pencils

I'm back with the balance of my finished Christmas cards YEA!!!  Hope you like them.

I had a tough time deciding what to do with this Spellbinders 3-D Wreath stamp set, even though I loved the photo of it.   It took me several tries with the inks to use, and whether I was going to use Copics or Prismacolor watercolor pencils.  The pencils and a water brush  worked the best.  I finished off the front with various dots of Nuvo Red Berry Crystal Drops.  The die cut words - Joy to the World were from Crafters Companion Festive Words 1 and the Merry Christmas came from Pretty Pink Posh die set. I had stamped the wreath with Rangers Achival Shadow Grey. Prismacolor Pencils included - Olive Green - Crimson Red - Sienna Brown - Dark Umber.

 

Well there you go.  My Christmas cards are done and ready for mailing Dec. 1st.  Boy, this will be a first for me, mailing cards by the first week in December.

Filling my Christmas card list using, Anna Griffin, Spellbinders,Tim Holtz & many others

Hello Everyone and welcome to  Black Friday Weekend. . . . . . .

I have been working hard at getting my Christmas cards made this year.  Here are the first of them.  Enjoy!  Sorry for the dim lighting.  I didn't use my light box for these pictures.

I used a lot of supplies in making these cards. 

• Anna Griffin Xmas Motif and Spellbinders Fa La La dies on the front
• Stamping Up embossing folders for the card fronts - called Snow Burst  & Petals a Plenty
• Tim Holtz/Sizzix  - Holiday Greens dies inside
• Anna Griffin  - Metallic Layers card on the inside
• Crafters Companion Christmas die cut words - called Festive 1 & Festive 2 on the inside
• jewels from my craft stash to finish the outside look
• Nennah 110 lb Solar White card for the base of the cards.
• Various Snowflakes from Mama Elephant  - called Snowflakes

ALTENEW Birthday Card - also using Ranger LETTER It Birthday stamp set

Hello Everyone. . . . . . .

Today I thought I would show you another birthday card for a friend at work.  A lot of birthdays between now and the new year.

For this card I used the ALTENEW Floral Art stamps set along with some ink cubes from Gina K Designs to color the flowers.  The happy birthday is from Ranger - LETTER It set - called Birthday, of course.  I finished the card with a  gray card base and some vibrant glitter card from my craft stash.  I thought the card still looked a little plain, so I added my touch of dots and doodle marks.  There, that did it,  just a little more interest needed on the card.  I hope my co-worker likes it, even though she doesn't like adding onto her already numerous years she has already lived!

Sympathy Card - using Annna Griffin Die and Tim Holtz Holiday Greens die

Sorry I haven' posted in a few weeks.  Work has been extremely busy, plus I had been sick, and still really not over that yet.  So I have been dragging the last few weeks, not thinking about card making.

I must say with the time change I had forgotten how early it is when it gets dark.

Today card is one that I just finished for a coworker.  Her mom just passed away this last week, and I thought it would be nice if she knew all of us in the office were thinking of her this last week.

I made the card base from Neenah 110 white card.  For the second layer, I used Anna Griffins Briar Rose embossing folder, which is also out of 110lb card.  I then used a current Anna Griffin scroll die that I popped off the embossed layer.  I finished off the look with a stamp set from Whimsy Stamps called Deepest Sympathy, which I  stamped and embossed on a piece of thick vellum from my stash  The greenery is from a Sizzix/Tim Holtz die called Holiday Greens.  I added more dimension with white Nuvo drops and roses from my craft stash.  The most important touch to the card will be when everyone in the office has a chance to sign the card.
