Spellbinders, Anna Griffin and Crafters Companion to create this exciting Christmas cards 2018

We are having some cool weather this weekend and I am loving it.  I decided I needed to  get started on this years Christmas cards. . . . . finally.  

To make this first whimsical card I used Spellbinders "Fa La La" die and whiter glitter card from my stash.  For the second layer of the card background I die cut a swirlie die from Anna Griffin "Angel & Wing" die set and a piece of her pale blue metallic card.  To add more texture to the card front I embossed the card  with a retired emboss folder from Stampin Up! called Snow Burst #124096.  I decided to pop everything off the card front to give it even more of that wow factor.  I completed the look with a Merry Christmas stamp from Crafters Companion -  Twinkle all the Way set, and a few rhinestones from my stash.

 

 

This second card is a quick  and easy Christmas card I made using crafting supplies from Anna Griffin.  The supplies include a acetate card, one of her angel dimensional stickers, an already made satin bow and some white card I embossed.  I also added a few of her Christmas punch outs and a sentiment to the inside of the card.    Easy! Easy!

Halloween Treat Bags - Using Gerda Steiner and Spellbinders stamps & dies

Happy Sunday Everyone

It a beautiful cooler day YEAH!! And I'm making more treat items for the girls at work.

I made this vellum treat bag/cup with my bag design and the adorable bats from Gerda Steiner stamp & die set  called "Bats".  The treat bag  measures 2" square and 4" tall.  A great size for little kiddie treats and adult goodies. 

To make these little gems I used thick vellum, retired Stampin Up! designer paper and lacy ribbon from my stash.  I copic colored the bats and added their little  google eyes.  The Happy Halloween is a Spellbinders die.  I completed the look with a paper clip closure after filling it with my favorite Brachs candy corn  YUM!!

Spellbinders Nordic Blooms die set to create this colorful Get Well card

Hello again

 

I just finished a get well card for a family friend that just had open heart surgery last week, and is healing well.

For this colorful card I used the Spellbinders Nordic Blooms die set.  I love this die set because you can die cut the flowers in any color combo you want.  I mounted the flowers & stems on black card to make the flowers pop even more.  I sponged on a bit of ink on the stems to add more dimension.  I then popped up the flowers so they jump out at you even more.  The get well wishes comes from a Stampin Up! set from my stash - Short Little Sayings which I believe is a retired set.
