Spellbinders Small Die Set - September 2018 - to make this cute Halloween Treat Tube

Hello happy Saturday. . . .  . .  Hope everyone is well. 

Today I thought I would use my Spellbinders  small die set from September 2018 plus a few dies from the Spellbinders Die D Lites - Cats and Bats die set to make this cute treat tube I designed for the girls at work.  I made the  base of the treat tube with a round bead storage container, some heavy acetate and Stampin Up retired halloween designer paper and ribbon.   Then I embellished the entire little tube with my dies  from Spellbinders.  Even though it took me a few designing tries, I was so happy with the way they turned out. 

The tubes measure 4" tall and about 2-1/4" around.  Plenty of room for some yummy sweet halloween  candy corn, carmel corn, or chocolates.  

Now all I have to do is stay away from the candy corn I filled these little ones with, or they may be empty halloween treat tubes!!

BIrthday Shaker card - using Stampin Up! - 3D emboss folder - Lawn Fawn - The Paper Studio

Hello Everyone.

Happy Labor Day weekend. . . . . .

I have another close friends birthday coming up next week and I wanted to make her a special shaker card. I  have to tell you, I love creating these shaker cards because everyone that is important to me  seems to enjoy them so much.  And that makes me happy! 

Luckily I wasn't slammed at work with steel orders and calculations this week so I have a little creative brain power left after a good nights sleep.

I started this card using concord grape card from Stamping Up! and 110lb solar white card from Neenah (my favorite).  I used a Crafter's Companion 3D embossing folder called Graceful  after I die cut the number "67" which my friend is turning this birthday using the ALTENEW bold numbers die set.  I completed the look with sequins from Hobby Lobby,  paper flowers from The Paper Studio (on sale this week at 50% off at H.L.) and a small Happy Birthday die cut from Lawn Fawn out of some gold glitter card from my stash.   In the beginning I  changed my mind several times on the colors, but very happy that it came together well in the end.
