Happy Hot Sunday everyone

Well Southern CA broke some heat records this week  - 117 degrees was the hottest inside city life.

So creating and cleaning is what I did to stay out of the heat.

This first Panda card is for a young lady at work that adores Panda Bears of any kind.  So I am going to surprise her with this little hello card. 

I used the Spellbinders Build a Panda die set (so cute!),  along with the Stampin Up! Large Polka Dot embossing folder #133739  for the front of the card.  I accented the embossed  background with some black Nuvo Crystal drops.  I completed the card front with some tiny google eyes and glitter card from my craft stash.  And on the inside I stamped HELLO with one of Rangers LETTER IT stamp sets - Greetings. 

I can hear her screaming now when she opens the envelope and sees the panda bears.

 

 

My second card was just an experiment of colors.

I used another Stampin Up ! embossing folder Vine St. #130492,  along with some Distressed Inks and the Rangers LETTER IT stamp set - Celebrations.   I added short pen marks and dots around the woohoo with a Copic Multi-liner black pen that made the word pop a bit.  I fussy cut the word and popped it off the front with 3M foam tape.  The glitter paper is from Joanns.
