Happy Sunday Crafters
Well, I decided to dive into my foil supply stash. Everyone seems to be foiling again, so I said why not! I have made a few samples using the newest pre-designed toner sheets from Thermo Web/Gina K and Anna Griffin, along with a few stencils, plastic and brass, inks from Gina K and Happy Birthday stamps from Stampin Up.
The glitter card stock came from Hobby Lobby when they had a 40% off sale, and boy did I stock up. I felt like a glitter queen when I walked out of the store that day. I really sparkled!!
So here we go with the samples. . . . I hope you like them. . . . . . .
Sample #1 I used a plastic stencil with transfer gel and Anna Griffin copper colored foil on top of brown embossed wood grain card stock that I mounted on Anna Griffin rose gold card stock
Sample #2 I used a brass stencil plate (not easy to use, too thick), but I have a lot of brass stencils in my craft stash so I took a chance, and applied transfer gel. Again I used wood grain embossed brown and kraft colored card stock and Anna Griffin gold foil.
Sample #3 I used one of Anna Griffins already printed design toner sheets which had a slick finish to the paper ( but it's not glossy paper), and then inked it with Gina K ink and jumbo daubers (this was a Gina K design idea) I finished it off with some green glitter card stock.
Sample #4 I used another plastic stencil, transfer gel, and Anna Griffin gold glitter foil sheet. I haven't seen these glitter sheets any where since Anna did the demo with the Minc machine on HSN a few years back.
Sample #5 I used one of Thermo Webs clear design toner sheets, copied it with a laser printer on 110lb Neenah card stock. I then inked it up with Gina K ink cubes and jumbo daubers. I used another colored glitter foil sheet from Anna Griffin. I finished the card with a Stampin Up Happy Birthday stamp, Nuvo drops, and mounted on colored glitter card stock.
Sample #6 Last one - Plastic stencil, transfer gel, Neenah 80lb card stock, ink cubes, daubers and finished it with a Happy Birthday die cut stacked 4 times from Stampin Up.
My next foiling project I plan to tackle will be my own stamped card designs using my Misti, foiling and coloring them with Copic markers. . . . so stay tuned. . . . . .
I hope you enjoyed this post.
Thanks for stopping by. . . . . .
Susan
