The Three Little Purses. . . using Stampin Up! Products & my custom templates

Pink & Brown Explosion Box with Pop Ups using Stampin Up! stamp set & punches

Good Monday Morning. . . . .

A note my Stampin Up! Girls - My April Workshop will be: 

Sunday April 10th 12noon - 2pm

We will be making a cute Easter Basket from a template I designed & a Bunny Card using the Heart Treat Cups and punches.

Today I thought I would share this project that will be in my June Joanns Papercrafting with Susan class.

I used the Stampin Up! - For Everything stamp set #120459, window sheet #114323, Round Tab Extra large punch #119864,  Scallop Circle punch, and Early Espresso cardstock.  Patterned cardstock and brads are not Stampin Up.

Stampin Up! Bring on the Cake stamp set - 2 completely different Birthday Cards

Happy Friday everyone.. . . . .

Today I'm posting two cards using

Stampin Up! -  Bring on the Cake

stamp set #121958. 

This set has 13 different stamps.  Great for any Birthday occasion.  

The first card I made is  5x7 using Daffodil Delight and Whisper White cardstock, accented with Real Red.  I have embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder #117335 on the left side of the card after I stamped it.   The triangle banner flags were hand cut and punched.  Each banner flag strung with Jute string.   I attached a tiny flower brad to each flag piece.  The Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped with Staz-On black ink, and colored in with markers.

The second card is made using Early Espresso, Whisper White, and Crumb Cake cardstock, accented with Real Red.    I used the same stamp set -

Bring on the Cake #121958

Tied with Real Red (retired) Polka Dot grosgrain ribbon, a paper pierced scallop oval piece, and a wishing you birthday  banner.  I embossed the Early Espresso cardstock with a Cuttlebug Numbers embossing folder.

So there you have it.  Two completely different cards using the same Stampin Up!

Gala Bag using Stampin Up! Sweet & Sour DSP & Bookworm Cupcake Toppers

Hello Everyone

 

Today I have a few festive items that I'm posting.  The first one is the Gala Bag I found on Angie Juda's website.  What a great party favor bag you could fill with goodies, or use as a center piece for a themed party table.   I used the Scallop border punch, eyelets, Sweet and Sour DSP #117390, and the (retired) Melon Mambo polka dot grosgrain ribbon.  I also used (retired) chipboard and my Sizzix Scallop Circle #2 die #113469 for the front embellishment piece.  The cupcake stamp is from Hero Arts.

 

My second item is some Bookworm Cupcake Toppers I made to list on my ETSY.com page (www.PaperCreationbySusiQ.ETSY.com).  I used Crushed Curry cardstock (retired) and the cute First Day #120051 clear stamp set.

Cupcake Candy Box, Build a Blossom & Take a Spin cards - all using Stampin Up! products

Hello Everyone. . .

It's good to be back with a new posting for all my stamping friends.  I have three projects to share with you today.  Two projects were made using products from the current Occasion Mini Catalog good thru April 30, 2011.

The first item is a cute cupcake I saw on Creation in Paper website.  I did not have instructions for the cupcake box so I made them up myself.  It's really an easy project using the Stampin Up! embosslit die #117332 Scalloped Heart to Heart for the lid - the paper crimper - Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch #119275 - a 3" scallop circle punch - and a retired corduroy button and accents and elements fleurette on top.  It's big enough to hold an assortment of candy or nuts, and oh so cute.

 

The next two items are cards I made using Occasions Mini Catalog products.

For the Take a Spin Tri-Folded card I used the stamp set #122015 - Take a Spin clear set, and #121893 Game Spinner Hands.  The cardstock and DSP is Bermuda Bay, which I love and still use quit often.

Card No. 2. . . . .

I used the new Build a Blossom #121994 Two Step clear stamp set, and the new Blossom Petals Punch #121808.  The colors I used were the 2011 In Colors Peach Parfait and Poppy Parade.  I also embossed the Poppy Parade cardstock with the Finial Press folder #115963 and added a button with a punched glitter circle piece for the center.  I found a similiar sample in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Two Cute Children's Cards using Stampin Up! products

Hello Everyone. . . . . .

 First I have a little Stampin Up! business I need to take care of. 

This is for all my Stampin Up! Girls. 

Since I am nearing a new job. Hope Hope Hope, I will now start posting at the first of each month my monthly In Home Stampin Up! workshop for that month.

This Month's workshop is:

Sunday March 13th

12noon - 2pm 

It will be up to you to make sure you call me leaving me your reservation by that prior Friday  - no later than 5pm, for Sunday's workshop.  Unfortunately, I will not be able to call anymore to check to see if you are coming, or not.  I will not have the extra time.

So, if you do not call me by that prior Friday by 5pm, that tells me you will not be coming to the class.  I will make up the templates and instruction sheets that Friday evening right after I come home from work.  So no call, no extras will be made up. 

And PLEASE don't forget to bring all your supplies with you for the projects.  If you don't have them now, remember to replenish them before class:

Scissors - Adhesive runners - Dimensionals - Glue Dots - and Sticky Strip. 

Now for Todays projects. . . .

A few cute cards I just stamped that would make great cards for a childs birthday party, or baby shower.  I used Penny Black stamps along with Stampin Up! Crushed Curry (retired), Soft Suede, Whisper White, and Brilliant Blue (retired) cardstock.  I also used the Polka Dot embossing folder, markers, Family Phrases stamp set #114960, Crystal Effects, and the Scallop border punch.

Bears & Onies Cupcake Toppers made using Stampin Up! stamps, punches, and pads

Hello and Happy Thursday. . . . .It's all down hill from here

Today I thought I would post a quick item I just listed on ETSY.com  I made these adorable cupcake toppers using the Baby Bundle stamp set #120576.  I also used the crimper #101618, x-Lg. Fancy Flower punch #118073, 2-3/8" scallop circle punch #118874, and other circle punches.  The cardstock I used was Early Espresso, So Saffron, Real Red, and (retired) Yo Yo Yellow.

Girlfriend Purse & Envelope Card using Stampin Up! PLUS Cupcake Boxes

Hello Everyone

Well it's another windy day here in So. California. 

SO. . . . . .

I thought I would show you a few projects I have been working on over the last few days.  I 'm having my  Stampin Up! in home workshop Sunday and we're doing projects centering around our

"Love for Cupcakes" 

I'm making cupcakes and decided to make cupcake boxes for each of the ladies too.  I designed the box using some patterned cardstock I had in my craft stash.

I designed the Girlfriend Purse and Envelope Card that tucks into the purse.  They were made using Stampin Up! Elegant Eggplant cardstock, Rhinestone brad #109111, Paper Crimper, and Scallop Circle punch #119854.  I also spritzed the flower with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz #118772.

 

Well I've got to run now.  Need to get those cupcakes made.

I know it's been a while since my last posting, but it can't be helped.

I've been very busy this last week or so, making up orders from Etsy sales, which I'm happy to get.  Also, I have had a few job interviews.

"NEW" Petal Cone Goodie box. . .using product from Stampin Ups new Occasions Mini Catalog

Hello Everyone

I had to show you my version in making the  

New - Sizzix Bigz - Petal Cone die #124186 (exclusive to Stampin Up). 

It just came out in Stampin Ups new  

Occasion Mini Catalog (January 4, 2011 - April 30,2011)

I decided to make a handle for mine.  And instead of using the scallop half circles that come within the die I used a large circle punch to accent the top of the cone.  I added the For You Flower #118726 tag, using the Lg. Fancy Flower punch #118073.  The cardstock I used is Early Espresso and some cherry patterned paper (not Stampin Ups).

Elephant Bundle of Love Cupcake Toppers using Stampin Up! stamp sets

Hello Everyone

Just a quick post before I'm off to teach my Paper Crafting class @ Joanns - Ontario, CA

I just finished these cute cupcake toppers to put up for sale on ETSY.  I used the So Saffron paper from the  Subtles - DSP Patterned Paper Stack #117152, Going Gray cardstock, Baby Steps wood stamp #117092 which I cut apart, the Lg. Fancy Flower punch #118073, and a 1-1/2" circle squeeze handle punch.  They are glued to 6" wooden sticks.  A cute little addition to a babys 1st birthday or baby shower.

Cupcakes. . .Cupcakes. . .Cupcakes. . . using Stampin Up! Stamp Sets

Good Morning. . . .

None of us can pass up a terrific cupcake YUM!!!! So I decided to show you a few projects that will be in   

My Stamping Workshop  - Sunday February 13th 12noon - 2pm

Theme - Birthdays and Cupcakes

 

All the products I used are from Stampin Up! except the Heart Jewelry Charm and the Chomper tool I used to round the corners.

The first project is a set of 3x3" Gift Cards and Mini Square Envelopes #107309.  The cardstock used was Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, Daffodil Delight, and Certainly Celery.  I used the Create a Cupcake (c) stamp set #121982, along with the Build a Cupcake punch #121807 and Jewels Rhinestones #119246.  The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes word set #115370 (Love this set).  I used Crumb Cake cardstock and the Polka Dot embossing folder for the card package cover.  Tied it up with  5/8" Victoria Crochet Trim #118481, and a Heart Jewelry Charm.  Change the sentiment and they would make a great Thank You gift card set.

The next item is a simple Birthday card using the new Birthday Bakery stamp set #120115, A Word for You set #120528, Early Espresso, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, and Whisper White cardstock.  I accented the card with an adhesive rhinestone #119246, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, and Real Red ribbon.

Project Inspired by Stampin Ups Success Magazine - Easel Card/Desk Drawer

Hello Everyone................

I know it's been a while since my last posting.  I've been busy designing new paper projects for my Stampin Up! workshop &  Joanns Craft Store - Paper Crafting classes. 

Todays inspiration comes from the new issue (Jan 2011) of the Stampin Up! Success magazine.  Maria Matonti won the WOW Art contest for December 2010 with her Easel Card/Calendar/Drawer unit. 

So..........I had to design my own for my Stampin Up! workshop girls.

To my Stampin Up! Girls, we will be making this little gem in my:

So here is my design of the Easel Card.  I made it as a 5"x5" Easel Card with a pull out desk drawer.  You can make more 4-3/4" square Easel Cards to fit inside the desk drawer.  I made the easel card to hold a standard size 3" x3" post-it-note pad.  The drawer is holding golf pencils, paperclips, and my business cards.  The Owl cardstock is not S.U. 

Stampin Up! Products: Owl Two Step punch #118074, Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch #119275, Scallop Trim Border punch #118402, Early Espresso 12x12 textured cardstock, 3/4" Circle punch, a retired corduroy brad, and Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon,

I also used the Chomper for the corners, colored brad, and a 1" circle scallop punch.

Mother's Day Card using Stampin Up set & more

Hello Everyone. . . .

I hope everyone is starting the week well.  I just finished this Mother's Day shutter card which will be one of the items in my class @ Joanns:

And for all my Stampin Up! workshop girls, it will be a Mother's Day card you will be doing in April too.

I used the Stampin Up! stamp set Messages for Mom #118580, the Victoria 5/8" wide lace trim, circle punches and a retired fabric covered brad. 

I love the papers that I used which are from the 6" x 6" paper pack - Webster's Pages - Collection Combo pack named - Lullaby Lane & Life's Portrait.  The thick papers are double sided, so you have alot of great patterns to choose from.  The buttons are from my craft stash, along with a tea cup rubber stamp.

Stampin Up! new Occasions Mini Catalog projects

Hello Everyone. . . . .

Get ready for some great new products from Stampin Up's new

I have posted a few new projects that I made using some of the new products in this catalog.

All products used are Stampin Up! except the bright patterend cardstock which is from Papertrey Ink, which I Love!!

Stampin Up! items used in the card: Create a Cupcake stamp set #121982, Build a Cupcake Extra Lg. Punch #121807, Real Red cardstock, Real Red grosgrain ribbon, Piercing tool, Mini Flower punch #118309, and Crystal adhesive rhinestones #119246. 

The next project is a template I designed to make this card after seeing a tealight card on SplitCoastStampers.com  Mine holds eight Hershey Nuggets.

This first picture is the card being held closed with a Belly Band. 

The second picture is the card opened showing the inside and the box portion, where you can add a sentiment or more embellishments.

This last project is a Valentines Card.  

Stampin Up products used: The new Valentines Defined stamp set #123057, Bashful Blue cardstock, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Riding Hood Red cardstock, the Pinking Heart border punch #117649, a retired crochet flower, and Riding Hood Red 1-1/4" wide striped ribbon.  I used the Chomper for the corners.

New Snow has just fallen on the Mountains. . . . . and all I can say is Beautiful!!!

It's a Brisk So. California Day. . . . .

I have to say my heater is getting a real work out today.  Very unusual, seeing I only have it set at 63 degrees (perfect temp for me).  But it's cold and rainy this morning.  Love it!  I 'll take the cool weather over So. California heat anytime. 

 

After it quit raining this morning I looked out my livingroom slider to see this beautiful sight of new snow that just fell on the lower mountain range behind my house.  WOW!!!! Anyone who lives in CA and knows the area, this is at the 15 & 210 Frwy. interchange.  With my mouth still open looking at this beautiful site, I had to run outside BURR!!! and take a quick picture with my digital camera. 

DARN I should have gotten out my 35mm and a photo lens for a better close up of this beauty. 

 

SORRY no projects to post today.  But, I'm working on a few new design templates and cards right now.  I will be posting the samples in the next few days.

Well it's the last day of the year YEAH!!!!

I waiting with anticipation for a better 2011, as I'm sure most of you are too.  Then why not start celebrating it with the color of Red and Pink, in hopes that real love comes are way in 2011.

Pizza Box & Card for my Feb. class using Stampin Up! - Plus Valentines treats

Hello and Happy Christmas Eve day everyone. . . . .

A quick posting of a few projects that I have coming up. 

The first set will be projects I am teaching at my second papercrafting class @ Joanns Craft Super Store - Ontario, CA - Saturday February 19th 2011 "Welcoming Spring" and the second set is from my  Valentines Stampin Up! workshop - Sunday January 16th @ 12 noon in my home.  Yes, I will be teaching paper crafting classes at the local Joanns Super Store in Ontario, CA starting the end of January.  Seeing that I still do not have a regular job, I'm having to expand more into my craft world to generate some income..

Lot of Simple Cards - using Stampin Up! and others

Hello Everyone

Well, I had a great weekend at the Christmas Boutique despite the sprinkling of rain.  I sold oodles of cards and paper crafted items.  That was a big joy for me.  When I got home I was POOPED, and I had more orders waiting for me to make.  So a great weekend. 

One order I had was to make more cards for my facialist salon.  It seems one of her clients bought her out.  So today I thought I would post some of the cards I've made for her delivery.  NOTE: I forget to take the picture before I put them in the clear sealed cello bags Dah!.  So you'll notice some of the pictures have a bit of glare on them.  I used a variety of products and stamps from different companies.

Meet my Grunge Snowman Treat Box - using Stampin Up! Sizzix Die & Punches

Hello Everyone. . . . .

I hope everyone enjoyed Turkey Day.  This is a day we act like little squirrels eating like we're storing it up for the winter.  All I can say is: Thanks God for elastic pants!

Today I'm posting a treat box I've called "Grunge Snowmen".  I'm making these to sell at a boutique next Saturday and on ETSY.com.  They are made using the Fancy Favor - Sizzix die #115965 and Very Vanilla cardstock.  To give it the grunge look I stamped each box with the Sanded background stamp #109294, then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake.  The eyes are made with a 1/2" circle punch, the cheeks with a 1" Scallop Circle  E.K. punch.  The nose was made with a piece from the 2-Step Bird punch #117191.  I made a rough template to draw the mouth.  I added red ear muff buttons and tied it up with Candy Cane Christmas fabric #121715 from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  I accented him/her with a white gel pen.

Christmas Truffle Candy Box using Stampin Up! punches and my box template

Hello Everyone. . .

It's been a bit busy lately.  I'm making some orders up for my E|TSY.com customers.  I thought I would share one with you that I'm working on now.  This customer makes her own sweet truffles for friends and family at the holidays, so this box was for her.  I used all Stampin Up! products accept the silver ribbon and my custom box template.

Products: Night of Navy cardstock, Snowflake punch, Decorative Label punch #120907, last years snowflake window sheet, Serene Snowflakes #115438 and Tags til Christmas #121169 stamp sets, white gel pen, brads, silver elastic thread, crimper, shimmer paint, Polka Dot embossing folder, and the Brushed Silver cardstock #100712.  I love this because it's silver on both sides.

Brilliant Blue Xmas card w/rhinestone Snowflakes using Stampin Up! products

T.G.I.F. Everyone.. . . . . .

Today I decided to use Brilliant Blue (retired) cardstock and ink pad from Stampin Up!.  I love this color with the White Staz-On ink pad #106960 stamped snowflakes, using the Serene Snowflakes set #115438. Each snowflake center is embellished with a rhinestone #119246.  The Seasons Greeting (retired) banner has been crimped with the paper Crimper #101618.  I finished the card off with a White Gel Pen and some tied Silver Elastic Thread #109866.  A quick and simple Christmas card that will also be in my December Card Stack workshop.

Christmas Cards Oh-My!! using Stampin Up! Products and Papers -

Hello Peeps!!

I thought I would show a few cards I started making preparing for my

December workshop - called - The Christmas Card Stack

 

First simple card - using Dasher stamp #116816, Merry Christmas stamp, Jumbo Snowflake punch #116628, 1-1/4" Riding Hood Red ribbon, Clip (retired), Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Real Red and Very Vanilla carstock, and brad (color retired). 

The background snowflakes were made with a stamp from The Rubbernecker Stamp Co.  For the antler accents I  used a glitter writing pen.

The little chocolate treat holder sitting at the bottom of the picture was made using Stampin Ups Large Petal Card punch #119273.  Punching two and adhering together. 

Card #2 - This card was made using the Holiday Mini Catalog stamp set A Cute Christmas #121133 and Curly Cute set #120510.  The designer paper is also from the HMC and is called Candy Cane Christmas #120809.  I used a Big Designer Button - called Deck the Halls #121002 tied up with some Real Red plaid ribbon (retired).  The trees are colored using a blender pen and ink pads.

The last card I used Papertrey ink paterned paper, S.U. Garden Green, and Whisper White cardstock.  I also used the single stamp Sweet Snowglobe #120868 and a Sweet Treat Cup.  (Retired) corduroy button and Happy Holidays stamp, Paper Crimper, 1-3/4" Circle punch #119850, and a White Gel Pen completes the winter wonderland.

Yummy Treat Box Card - using Stampin Up! Holiday Mini Catalog products

Happy Friday Everyone

Today's card is one that will be in my

December 12th  - Sunday - 12noon - 2pm Christmas Card workshop.

It's called Treat Box Card.  I saw it on stampinconnection.com, made by Melanie Schulenberg.  I thought it was very clever.  The box side will hold five Hershey Nuggets.  The card side can be sealed up (which I did), or open and close like a regular card.  Because of the bulkiness I had to fit it into a 6-1/2" square envelope, making it a bit unusual to mail.  I would send it in a bubble mailer envelope if mailed.

Stampin Up  Mini Holiday Catalog products: Deck the Halls DSP #120810 - 1/2" Seam Binding in Cherry Cobbler #120992 - Big Designer Button in Deck the Halls #121002. 

Other Stampin Up products: Cherry Cobbler & Very Vanilla cardstock - 2-3/8' Scallop Circle punch #118874 - Crimper - various Christmas stamps (retired).  The linen twine is from Papertrey Ink.
