Hello Everyone. . . .
I hope everyone is enjoying a safe holiday celebration.
I thought I would show you a few samples of the crayon resist technique. First you run your stamped or plain piece of cardstock thru your Big Shot with your embossing folder like normal, but before you remove the cardstock from the embossing folder, color it completly with your white crayon. Leaving it in the folder allows the embossed piece not to be crushed while doing this process.
I used Stampin Ups/Sizzix Finial Press #115963, and the Petals Plenty #116824 folders. You then sponge on the desired colors of ink you want to your embossed piece. I used a variety of sponges, a handled sponging tool, daubers, and ink pads to achieve my colored effect. Just remember to stamp your image on the cardstock before you emboss if you plan to go that way.
I hope you all enjoyed my Crayon Resist card samples. Thanks for stopping by.
Susan
