Let's Celebrate Valentines with Stampin Up! - PLUS my next Workshop-Jan 22nd

Well  Happy New Year Everyone. . . . . . .

I know it's been a while since my last posting.  Now with the holidays behind us and me settled into my new job, hopefully I will have time to post more Stampin Up! and papercrafting ideas.

The Thoughts of You card & Valentine Button/Treat Bag I used the following:

"New" Take It to Heart #125522 & Loving Thougths #125845. A current set - I (Heart) Hearts #118571.  Plus, I brought out the "New" Hearts Framelits #125599, Hearts punch, and some retired buttons and Love Letter DSP.   I finished the card off with Crystal Effects and misc. sheer ribbon.

 

This last project won't be in my January workshop but I thought you would enjoy it.  The Valentine Heart box was made using the Hearts Framelits again (I used the largest scalloped heart), Take it to Heart stamp set, Heart punch, and Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

The heart on a stick I made movable.  I attached it to a punched out heart piece, so you can move it to any place in the box you wish.  This box does not have a lid.

Yummy Purple Soap/Tea Light Gift Box using Stampin Up and More. . .. . . .

Hello Stampers. . . . . . .

This will be my last paper project for this week.  I need to start making some bead bracelets for a upcoming Holiday Craft Show I will be in.  

I found this gift box on Scor Pals website too.  It's called the Soap Box.  As you can see it would be great for an assortment of gift items like, scented tea lights or soaps, chocolates or hard candies, even gift tags.  

Everything I used to make this pretty little box came from Stampin Up! except the Birds on a Limb stamp (love it!)

Christmas Bread Box and Peek A Boo Treat Box using Stampin Up!

I'm Back. . . .

When I went into the Scor-Pal website last weekend I found several 3-D projects I wanted to make.  But let me worn you, if you see something you want to make, try it first with some odd ball cardstock you have laying around.  Because I'm finding several direction errors when making some of the items.  Wrong dimensions, punch positions etc.  So just be aware or that!

Both of these projects used the following Stampin Up products: the Holiday Lineup stamp set #111648, Dazzling Details #124117, Crystal Effects #101055, retired Christmas DSP, Old Olive cardstock, Scallop Trim border punch #118402, markers, Old Olive brads, and the Crimper #101618.  Plus, I used a few items from my craft stash - Google Eyes - ribbon and a tiny Red Pom Pom.

Christmas Has Arrived using Stampin Up and more. . . . . .

Hi Ladies

I thought I would show you a few Christmas projects I have been working on.  Seeing I had some time off. For my Stampin Up! girls, these projects will be in my Novemeber and December workshops.

First Project - Bon Bon Box using the "New" Snow Much Fun set #122562, Docorative Label punch #120907, markers, and red/white bakers twine# 123125.  The Bon Bon template I found on Scor-Pals website.  I also made a second box using Great Impressions Pine Cone stamp which I accented with the "New" Stampin Up -Dazzling Details #124117

The Second Project is a Ferrero Rocher Box w/Belly Band - my template -This box (holds 6 pieces).  It would be the perfect size for a teachers gift from your child.  I used the retired stamp set Big on Christmas #116578, retired Xmas DSP, Real Red cardstock, and markers.

Box Opened -

This last little project - Hershey Nugget Holder was made using the long tag from the S.U./Sizzix Two Tags die #115954, the "New" Snow Much Fun stamp set #122562 and several circle punches. The little table the holder is sitting on, is one I designed using the Sizzix Scallop Circle #2 die #113469, and the S.U. Extra-Large Oval punch #119859.  The oval punch was used on the bottom portion - the table stand.  They are easy to make, and strong enough to support a mini cupcake too.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend.  It was a relaxing one for me.  I had enought time to play with my stamps.  I pulled out a few of my neglected products from my craftroom, and here is what I came up with. 

I knew I had to start on my Halloween cards soon, so this was a great weekend to do that.  This year I decided to make a flat card using Stamps by Judith and her stubbies.  I used the Polka Dot embossing folder from Stampin Up!  I was too lazy to mask the tree before I stamped the pumpkins, but I think it came out alright. 

For this second item, I decided to play with a few of my Martha Stewart border and corner punches.  The flower on the lid was made using a 2-1/4" Scallop Circle punch.  The cardstock was some I picked up from Joanns ages ago.

Cupcake Birthday card using Stampin Up! Stamps, Paper Crimper, & Punch

Hello Stampers. . . . . .

Boy what a treat it is to post two days in a row.  I thought since I was making a birthday card for a friend I would make a few more for my birthday card box. 

This large cupcake card was made using the Simple Birthday Thanks single stamp #111546.  I cut out the center of the stamp when I bought it so I could use a variety of sentiments inside the cupcake area.  I used  the Sincere Saluations set #115068 for this card.  I also used the Crimper #101618, new Calypso Coral DSP, Extra large Oval punch #119859, and a Scallop Oval punch from Marvy.  The base of the card was made from Crumb Cake cardstock, and embossed it with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I used the chomper on the bottom corners, glittered the cherry, and accented the cupcake with tiny beads.

Well I'm starting my new job tomorrow.  Like many, it's been a very difficult time trying to find a good paying full time job during this recession.  But I did it, and excited that I have.

Envelope Card using Stampin Up retired Hostess set - Kind & Caring Thoughts

Hello Strangers. . . .

It seems like it has been forever since my last posting. 

Today I thought I would show you a card I just finished for my facialist whos bithday is coming up in a few weeks.  I saw this envelope card on another website and thought it would be perfect for her.  There was no pattern available on the website so I had to design one myself.  The card measures 4" square.

I used the retired Kind & Caring Thoughts Hostess Level 3 stamp set.  Love this set, and use it often.  I embossed the card after stamping it with the Finial Press embossing folder #115963.  Buttons come from a previous Sale a Bration catalog.  I tied each button onto the card with our White Bakers Twine #124262, covering the knot inside the card with punched Boho Blossoms flowers. The paper is a package I picked up at Big Lots.  I punched scallop border pieces with our punch #119882 and adhered them to the inside of the card. The hemp twine is from Papertrey Ink.

 

Flowered Treat Box using Stampin Up! items Retired and New

Hi Stampers. . . .

Just a quick item I made to go along with the handled treat bag I made and posted last week.

For this little square treat box I designed I used the retired Sweet and Sour Designer Series paper (love it), and retired Only Orange cardstock.  I used the New It's a Wrap Occasions stamp set #123592 for the greeting on the belly band which holds the box closed.  I accented the box with a Sizzix Die cut - Daisies Flowers - that I attached with corduroy Only Orange brads (also retired).  The container part of this treat box measures 3-3/4" square, so it can hold an assortment of goodies.  I filled this one with colorful bubble gum.  It's also large enough to hold (3) regular size post-it-note pads and a golf pencil.

Baby Projects using Stampin Up! items from the NEW 2011-2012 Catalog.

Hi Stampers. . . .

Happy Sunday morning. . . . . 

What a nice surprise for us this morning in Fontana.  A cool rain shower that has been heavy at times, with lots of thunder.  A nice relief from the heat.  But, I know we'll be paying for it later in the day when it warms up to the mid 90's and muggy. 

Today's projects are for baby. . . . . . All the stamping products used are from Stampin Up!

For the Thank You baby card I used - The NEW single wood stamp Bringing Baby #122905 - Thank You Kindly set #111700 - Scallop Trim border punch - DSP Paper Stack In Colors 2011-2013 #122384 (I used the Wisteria Wonder purple), accented with a Basic Black cardstock punched piece.  I colored in the stork and baby with an assortment of markers.  Then tied it up with a shear pale purple ribbon piece.   

This second item is a Baby Shower Treat Bag - I used the Wisteria Wonder DSP with the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder - the NEW It's a Wrap Occasions stamp set #123592 - Scallop Trim border punch  - Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock - Concord Crush ink pad - Jewels Basic adhesive Rhinestones #119246 - shear white ribbon.  The large pink pacifier was a find at a 99 cent store.  The little treat bag measures 2" square by 4" high.  Just large enough to hold an assortment of baby shower goodies.

P.S. I love this new It's a Wrap Occasions stamp set.  You can stamp any one of the images on a Avery Address Label #8160, and then adhere them to a Hershey Chocolate Nugget.  A perfect fit and very clever! 

The great news is Stampin Up! has more designs coming out in their upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog (out September 1st 2011).  Just in time for the holidays.

Hi Stampers. . . .I have a Stampin Up! & Sizzix Die project for you today. . . . .

Hello Everyone

So good to be back stamping and creating, if only for a day. 

I should be getting a small Stampin Up! order tomorrow from UPS. YEA!!   I ordered some new items from the 2011-2012 catalog.  I am so excited to dig into the box and make something new to share with all of you.

Today I made this colorful handle box using the Sizzix Box #2 die #114518.  I cut off the top and side folding flaps after I die cut it.  I adhered a beautiful punched border around the top edge using the Martha Stewart Lattice border punch.  I also used the Sizzix die - Daisies Flower #654981.   I attached the retired Only Orange corduroy brad to the flower petals and attached it to the front of the treat box.  The handle was made using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch #119275. 

The Designer Series Paper is Sweet and Sour #117390 which is retired.  These would be great at any summer party or shower filled with mints, chocolates, or nuts.

New Cards & Projects using the New 2011-2012 Stampin Up! catalog!!

Hello Stampers. . .

I know it's been a while since my last posting.  But because I'm not able to have my monthly - In Home Stampin Up workshops right now I 'm not stamping much.  Any items I have been making are orders from my ETSY.com shop. 

NOTE: I can still put on Stampin Up! workshops in your home if you like. Monday - Wednesday evenings available.

 

1st card - Square Scallop Card.  I used the new Hostess Stamp Set #122492 - Faith in Nature.  I also used two embossing folders Vintage Wallpaper #120175 and Perfect Polka Dots #117335.  I punched the Whisper White cardstock piece with the Scallop Trim Border and Corner punches.  I colored the flower in with a blender pen and ink pad.  The center was accented with a tiny adhesive pearl.

2nd Card & Pillow Box - I used the same hostess stamp set for the 3" x 3" Thank You note card.  The background of the note card was stamped with the large stamp En Francais #109521.  The Sizzix die Brown Pillow Box goodie box was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder.  The cut out Pear is from the Faith in Nature hostess set, which I also colored it in with ink pads and a blender pen.

Last Card - I used a second NEW -  Hostess stamp set - Happiest Birthday Wishes #122617 plus the NEW Petite Pennant Builder Punch #122361( which I love).  I used the DSP Play Date along with our new White Baker's Twine #124262.  The dash lines were made with the white gel pen #105021.  The buttons are ones I had in my craft stash.

 I hope everyone enjoyed the new projects.

Boxed Invitations - using Stampin Up Summer Mini Catalog Items and more. . . . .

Hello Again. . . . . .

This is my second attempt to post this today.  Just as I finished the first one, and  before I could save it, my computer incurred a problem and had to close.  And all was lost.  Don't you just hate that!

Anyway here are a few invitation sets I made over the weekend.  The first three sets used the Sunny Fun stamp  set #123042 from the Stampin Up! Summer Mini Catalog.  Along with the stamp set I used several embossing folders from Sizzix and Cuttlebug.  I colored the images with markers, ink pads and a blender pen.  Since I don't have stamps that I could use for the invitation titles I used a font on my computer and generated the titles in various colors.

This last set I made using the Baby Bundle stamp set #120576 - one of my favorites.

Thanks So Much Card - Enhanced with embossed metal flower - using Stampin Up/ Sizzix die, & Sheet Metal

Hello Again. . .

Todays project is a Thank You card that I embellished with a embossed metal flower.  

I've seen others online using Sizzix Bigz dies and embossing folders, and loved the look. So I had to make my own. 

I've had the aluminum, embossing plates, and embossing tools in my craft stash for about five years, collecting dust.  I was into embossed metal book bindings for old books.  When I started out I could only find one store in my area that carried a very small selection of metal embossing supplies.  So I ended up buying the items online from Ten Seconds Studio.  I bought 40ga aluminum, and 36ga copper colored aluminum in rolls.

You can use roof flashing or light gauged sheetmetal from your local hardware or Home Depot store too.  Be very careful when working with sheetmetal because the raw edges can cut you very easily.  Wear gloves if possible.

Funny Fact: I've worked (before being laid off 2 years ago) in the steel distribution/steel manufacturing industries for a longtime as a sales rep, and love it.  One of very few women that have succeeded in it. 

O.K. after all that here's the card. . . . . . .

 

I used the Swirls & Curls Verses - Hostess stamp set from the Stampin Up! Summer Mini catalog,  Elegant Bouquet embossing folder #115964, Island Floral Sizzix die #118871, and the Flower Layers Sizzix die #113470.  I also accented the card with a few adhesive Pearls #119247.  The corduroy brad is retired.

A Stack of Greeting Cards using Stampin Up! and much more. . . . . .

I'm still working away at making cards, up to about 100 now for the June 5th show.  I thought I would share a few from this last stack I made yesterday.  Each one is in a cello envelope, so you might notice some reflection in the photos.

I used several Stampin Up! stamp sets, along with Stamps by Judith, Papertrey Ink and Hero Arts.  I used quit a few embossing folders from Sizzix/Stampin Up! and Cuttlebug.  

All the ink pads, blender pens, and cardstock comes from Stampin Up!

I used a few patterned papers from my craft stash.  Embellished with a variety of ribbon, buttons, adhesive rhinestones #119246 and Pearls #119247 from Stampin Up! and Papertrey Ink.  Most of the Thank You sentiments I generated on my computer.  The balance of the sentiments were hand stamped using Stampin Up! stamp sets plus others from my stash.

Top Note Tag Box using Stampin Up & Sizzix Die

Hello Stampers. . . . .

I thought I would share a project that I will probably have in my . . . . . . .

June (maybe June 12th) Stampin Up! workshop. . . . .

So look for it my Stamping Ladies.

I made this note box using Stampin Up! Cherry Cobbler and Riding Hood Red cardstock.  The pattern paper was a find at BL.  I used the Top Note Sizzix die #113463 to make the top note cards.  I accented the box using a 1-1/2" Scallop Circle flower, the Dotted Scallop Border punch #119275, the Word Window punch #119857, and the Scallop Trim border punch #118042.  The stamp set used is For Everything #120459.

Father's Day & Thanks for Everything card using Stampin Up! and more

Good Morning. . . . .

 Today I am posting a few more cards I will have for sale at the

12th Annual - Celebrations of the Arts 

 Yorba Linda Community Center show  

Sunday June 5th 11am - 5pm.

The first card is for Dear Old Dad - Father's Day using the NEW Stampin Up! Best Dad Ever stamp set #120681, and the Square Lattice embossing folder #119976.  I accented the card with clear rhinestones #119246 to give dad some bling! bling!

 

This second card is for that special person in your life that's always there for you.  In this Thanks for Everything card I used the NEW Stampin Up - For Everything stamp set #120459, the NEW Daffodil Delight PomPom Trim #121885, and the NEW Framed Tulips embossing folder #121809.  I accented the card with Crystal Effects, and some butterfly tracks. 

 

This last colorful card was made using Papertrey Ink and Martha Stewart stamps.  I colored in the butterflies with Stampin Up markers.  Stampin Up cardstock - Basic Black, Whisper White, Sunshine Yellow (retired) and Brushed Silver. Santa Box & Santa Card for Xmas in July - using Stampin Up! & Sizzix Scallop Circle dies

Hello and Happy Friday. . . . .

I know you're going to say, What Christmas already!!!  But I thought I would show you these cute projects that I just completed for my Christmas in July - Stampin Up! workshop and Joanns class.  Both projects used Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, and Basic Black cardstock.  I used a variety of circle punches along with the Curly Cute stamp set #120510, Crimper #101618, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder #117335, Sizzix Scallop Circle die #113468, and Scallop Circle #2 die #113469.   The handle is made with red colored jewelry wire.  I accented the card with 1/2" jingle bells.

Santas Beard on the box opens up so you can stamp a sentiment inside.

Cupcake Punched Card & Paper Purse using Stampin Up! & Sizzix dies

The first project for this month will be a Girlie Purse I designed.  I accented the purse with a paper flower, Jewels Basic Pearls #119247, Rhinestone Brads #113144, tiny tag made from the Tiny Tags stamp set #118592, and the Tiny Tag Punch #117190.  I added a Pretty Postage sentiment from #123097 which I punched out with the new Postage Punch #117190.  I made the flower using a 2" scallop circle punch.  Early Espresso cardstock from Stampin Up, patterned paper from Bohemia were used.

Your second project will be a paper punched Scallop Square Birthday card.  Boy that was a mouth full.

It's made using the Sizzix Scallop Square die #115950, the NEW Scallop Square Duo Sizzix die #120903 (find it in the new- Summer Mini catalog). the Create a Cupcake stamp set #121982, and coordinating punch #121807.  I used Stampin Up! DSP - Subtles Patterns Stack #117152 along with two embossing folders - Perfect Polka Dots #117335 and Square Lattice #119976. The flower was made with a flower punch I had in my stash.

Barrell Purse using Stampin Up! and others

Hell Again. . . .

I had to show you this cute Barrell Purse gift bag I created for the show.  I used patterned paper from October Afternoon.  I love their papers!!  Then I embossed/punched each bag front with a daisy using the Martha Stewart embossing punch, centers adorned with a button.  The bag has a acetate handle, made from a strip of Stampin Up's thick window sheet #114324.  Each purse will have a coordinating colored "For You Flower" SU rubber stamp hang tag #118726 attached to the handle with twine string.  How can anyone resist!!

Still Designing for the Celebration of the Arts Show in Yorba Linda - June 5th 11am - 5pm

Happy Hopping Easter Everyone. . . . . .

 

I thought I would show you a few more cards and items I have been working on for the June 5th show.  I know you might think it's a bit too early for Halloween, but for this show I make everyday items and popular holiday items too.  It means more sales.

In the first card I used retired cardstock and colors from Stampin Up!, plus another embossing folder from Cuttlebug.

 

In this card I used a new set from Stampin Up! - Bring on the Cake #121958 from the current Occasions Mini Catalog (good until April 30th).  I love this stamp set because it contains 13 stamps just for birthdays. I used the flowers embossing folder from Sizzix and misc. oval and scallop oval punches from McGill.

 

The next two items are Halloween.  A cute triangle treat box with a punched Owl from SU #118074, sentiment Grateful Greetings stamp set #11651, plus the Bitty Bat punch #119279.   The second item is a cute Witch Hat treat box with a Happy Halloween tag attached from SU #121151.  BOO TO YOU ALL!!

 

 

And finally the last two items are cute Post-it-Note pad with a pen holders.  They are handy to have by every phone.

The first holder is 6" x 4."

 

The second one is 5" x 7".

Father's Day & Birthday cards using Stampin Up! - Embossing Folders

Hello Everyone

I have been working hard trying to stock up on my handmade cards to sell at an upcoming craft show I'm in.  I thought I would show you a few cards for dear old dad  - Father's Day and Birthday cards.  I used two retired Stampin Up! stamp sets and one current set - King of the Grill to make the cards.  The Martha Stewart punches are so new they are not out in the stores yet.

Friends Birthday card - using Stampin Up and others

Happy Monday everyone. . . . .

I was going to give my car a good cleaning today, and start my spring cleaning on my windows and screens.  But it's a bit too windy to accomplish either of those tasks today. 

OH DARN!!!!

So I thought I would show you this simple card I just finished for my dear friends birthday instead.  It's being mailed to England so I don't embellish her cards with too much.  It gets to be quit expensive when you mail thick cards to England. 

I used Stampin Up - Tempting Turquoise cardstock, paper Crimper #101618, matching 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon, the Curly Cute stamp set #120510, a clear rhinestone #119246, and the tiny flower punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack #118309.  I also used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the front of the card, along with the Corner Chomper, a border punch from Martha Stewart, and a button from Papertrey Ink to complete the look.

I think she'll like this colorful card.

Inspiration for My Flower card comes from the Stampin Success Magazine by Stampin Up!

Hello Everyone. . . .

I just had to show you the card I made using the Awash with Flowers stamp set #120549.  My inspiration is from the April 2011 issue of the Stampin Success magazine.  A monthly magazine that Stampin Up! demonstrators receive.  You can find this idea on page 19.

I stamped the outline of the flowers with a Staz-on black pad, and filled the flower petals with Pretty in Pink.  I added Stampin Up pastel chalks to the center of each flower giving them a deeper pop of color.   I set the chalk with a spray of the Smooch Spritz in Vanilla # 118772.  Texture was added to each card by using the Square Lattice embossing folder #119976.  Buttons by Papertrey Ink.

Only one more day until the weekend.  Yippie . . . . . . . . .

Easter Bunnies using Stampin Up! Heart Treat Cup & Sizzix Fancy Favor die and more

Hello Everyone. . . . . . .

I thought I would show a few projects we will be doing in my  

April 10th 12noon - 2pm

Stampin Up! monthly workshop

 

The first little treat bag with the bunny on front is made using the Sizzix - Fancy Favor  Bag die #115965, the Sanded background stamp, and several punches.  The bag is accented with pink wire and a pink satin bow.

The second project is one I saw on Dawns Stampin Up website.  We will be using the Heart Treat Cups #120435, several punches and one of the Textures Plate called Backgrounds #114512, which I seldom use, along with my Big Shot.

Matchbox Gift Boxes w/ Crystal & Jewelry Charm Pulls - using punches from Stampin Up!

Hello Everyone.

I hope everyone is having an enjoyable Sunday with family and friends. 

Today I thought I would show a few little matchbox gift boxes I just finished.  You can make these by using Stampin Ups Sizzix Matchbox die #114890, or a template which I used.  I found the template somewhere online, sorry I can't remember where.  I was interested in the box because of the flower on top, made from a Scallop Circle punch.  I used Stampin Ups 2-3/8" Scallop Circle punch #118874, and their 3/4" circle punch #119873.  I have a 1" scallop circle punch, so I decided to use that with the 3/4" punch for the center of the flower.  I pulled out my bead stash and added crystal beads and jewelry charms for the pulls of each box.  Great as a wedding shower party favor, or holding yummy chocolates or jewelry items.

The Three Little Purses. . . using Stampin Up! Products & my custom templates

Pink & Brown Explosion Box with Pop Ups using Stampin Up! stamp set & punches

A note my Stampin Up! Girls - My April Workshop will be:

Stampin Up! Bring on the Cake stamp set - 2 completely different Birthday Cards

Happy Friday everyone.. . . . .

Today I'm posting two cards using

Stampin Up! -  Bring on the Cake

stamp set #121958. 

This set has 13 different stamps.  Great for any Birthday occasion.  

The first card I made is  5x7 using Daffodil Delight and Whisper White cardstock, accented with Real Red.  I have embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder #117335 on the left side of the card after I stamped it.   The triangle banner flags were hand cut and punched.  Each banner flag strung with Jute string.   I attached a tiny flower brad to each flag piece.  The Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped with Staz-On black ink, and colored in with markers.

The second card is made using Early Espresso, Whisper White, and Crumb Cake cardstock, accented with Real Red.    I used the same stamp set -

Bring on the Cake #121958

Tied with Real Red (retired) Polka Dot grosgrain ribbon, a paper pierced scallop oval piece, and a wishing you birthday  banner.  I embossed the Early Espresso cardstock with a Cuttlebug Numbers embossing folder.

So there you have it.  Two completely different cards using the same Stampin Up!

Gala Bag using Stampin Up! Sweet & Sour DSP & Bookworm Cupcake Toppers

Hello Everyone

 

Today I have a few festive items that I'm posting.  The first one is the Gala Bag I found on Angie Juda's website.  What a great party favor bag you could fill with goodies, or use as a center piece for a themed party table.   I used the Scallop border punch, eyelets, Sweet and Sour DSP #117390, and the (retired) Melon Mambo polka dot grosgrain ribbon.  I also used (retired) chipboard and my Sizzix Scallop Circle #2 die #113469 for the front embellishment piece.  The cupcake stamp is from Hero Arts.

 

My second item is some Bookworm Cupcake Toppers I made to list on my ETSY.com page (www.PaperCreationbySusiQ.ETSY.com).  I used Crushed Curry cardstock (retired) and the cute First Day #120051 clear stamp set.

Cupcake Candy Box, Build a Blossom & Take a Spin cards - all using Stampin Up! products

Hello Everyone. . .

It's good to be back with a new posting for all my stamping friends.  I have three projects to share with you today.  Two projects were made using products from the current Occasion Mini Catalog good thru April 30, 2011.

The first item is a cute cupcake I saw on Creation in Paper website.  I did not have instructions for the cupcake box so I made them up myself.  It's really an easy project using the Stampin Up! embosslit die #117332 Scalloped Heart to Heart for the lid - the paper crimper - Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch #119275 - a 3" scallop circle punch - and a retired corduroy button and accents and elements fleurette on top.  It's big enough to hold an assortment of candy or nuts, and oh so cute.

 

The next two items are cards I made using Occasions Mini Catalog products.

For the Take a Spin Tri-Folded card I used the stamp set #122015 - Take a Spin clear set, and #121893 Game Spinner Hands.  The cardstock and DSP is Bermuda Bay, which I love and still use quit often.

Card No. 2. . . . .

I used the new Build a Blossom #121994 Two Step clear stamp set, and the new Blossom Petals Punch #121808.  The colors I used were the 2011 In Colors Peach Parfait and Poppy Parade.  I also embossed the Poppy Parade cardstock with the Finial Press folder #115963 and added a button with a punched glitter circle piece for the center.  I found a similiar sample in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Two Cute Children's Cards using Stampin Up! products

Hello Everyone. . . . . .

 First I have a little Stampin Up! business I need to take care of. 

This is for all my Stampin Up! Girls. 

Since I am nearing a new job. Hope Hope Hope, I will now start posting at the first of each month my monthly In Home Stampin Up! workshop for that month.

This Month's workshop is:

Sunday March 13th

12noon - 2pm 

It will be up to you to make sure you call me leaving me your reservation by that prior Friday  - no later than 5pm, for Sunday's workshop.  Unfortunately, I will not be able to call anymore to check to see if you are coming, or not.  I will not have the extra time.

So, if you do not call me by that prior Friday by 5pm, that tells me you will not be coming to the class.  I will make up the templates and instruction sheets that Friday evening right after I come home from work.  So no call, no extras will be made up. 

And PLEASE don't forget to bring all your supplies with you for the projects.  If you don't have them now, remember to replenish them before class:

Scissors - Adhesive runners - Dimensionals - Glue Dots - and Sticky Strip. 

Now for Todays projects. . . .

A few cute cards I just stamped that would make great cards for a childs birthday party, or baby shower.  I used Penny Black stamps along with Stampin Up! Crushed Curry (retired), Soft Suede, Whisper White, and Brilliant Blue (retired) cardstock.  I also used the Polka Dot embossing folder, markers, Family Phrases stamp set #114960, Crystal Effects, and the Scallop border punch.

Today I thought I would post a quick item I just listed on ETSY.com  I made these adorable cupcake toppers using the Baby Bundle stamp set #120576.  I also used the crimper #101618, x-Lg. Fancy Flower punch #118073, 2-3/8" scallop circle punch #118874, and other circle punches.  The cardstock I used was Early Espresso, So Saffron, Real Red, and (retired) Yo Yo Yellow.
